Guira Cuckoo

A scruffy, sociable cuckoo with a shaggy, spiked crest and streaky brown-and-cream plumage, almost always seen in noisy, tumbling groups rather than alone. Unlike many cuckoos it builds its own nest and helps raise its young cooperatively within the group.
